We are pleased to announce that Energio has signed a framework agreement to supply energy systems, such as solar panels, hybrid panels, photovoltaic facades, photovoltaic railings and other structurally integrated photovoltaic systems, to Consti Oyj’s projects. These energy solutions are particularly well suited to the offering of Consti, known as Finland’s largest renovation operator. In addition to other renovations, Consti is known for its high-quality facade and balcony renovations and the recently launched multi-energy system, Consti Optim.
Hybrid panels as part of Consti Optimia
Consti Optimi is a multi-energy system that is aimed specifically, but not limited to, buildings where a small plot limits geothermal capacity, for example. In such cases, other heat sources are needed to supplement the system and enable geothermal wells to be drilled closer together. Hybrid panels, i.e. liquid-cooled solar panels that produce both electricity and heat simultaneously, are particularly well suited for such situations. The temperature level they produce is ideal for enhancing the operation of the geothermal system and charging the well field. At the same time, the cooling of the panels enhances the production of solar electricity. Overall, hybrid panels produce about 4x more power from the same area than conventional solar photovoltaic systems.

Facades to generate electricity
Consti is also known for facade renovations. Therefore, cooperation on photovoltaic facades is a natural addition to the whole. A photovoltaic facade refers to a facade panel in which a photovoltaic system is built into the panel. A photovoltaic facade replaces conventional facade materials and creates an exceptional thing for the facade. Namely, photovoltaic facades pay for themselves, unlike facades made of any other material.
Solar facades are also extremely impressive, offering a huge range of different colors and patterns, such as brick, marble, granite, concrete, plaster or metal patterns, solid colors, metallic shimmer colors, solutions coated with special color-changing glass and much more. In practice, they offer design freedom, spectacularity and efficient energy production in the same package.
