Unique load management
Zaptec Pro is the only charging system on the market that, in addition to traditional load management, can also optimize the use of different phases of three-phase current to the maximum.
The system can switch from one charging phase to another on the fly, or for example, change three-phase charging to single-phase charging to maximize capacity utilization.
For example, in a load situation where 2kW of power can be distributed per phase via three-phase current, it is more efficient to switch the three-phase charging to one phase and provide a higher power of 6kW through it. Thanks to intelligent optimization features, the Zaptec Pro system can reach an utilization rate of over 95 percent in a loaded system. The difference to the electricity charged by other systems is significant during the night.
Versatile connections
The Zaptec Pro system has built-in free 4G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth and RFID/NFC reader. Charging can also be initiated with an RFID tag or a mobile phone's NFC connection.
The system comes with a free Zaptec Portal for monitoring electricity consumption using a built-in electricity meter. If you wish, you can share costs according to consumption without external operators. Of course, the system also supports other payment services and solutions (including EasyPark, eParking, Moovy and many more)
Easily expandable
The philosophy behind the design of the Zaptec Pro system has been to make it as scalable as possible, so that the charging system can be easily and flexibly expanded as the need grows. Initially, charging readiness is installed in all parking spaces, and as the need grows, charging stations can be easily and quickly added to the existing system without extensive additional work or investments in the main electrical distribution center.
Safe and reliable charging
The charging station supports Type-2 charging cables for safe charging. The station has a built-in residual current protection and safety has been the starting point of the design. The Zaptec Pro charging station is TüV and CE safety tested and approved. Zaptec grants the device the longest 5-year warranty on the market.
The charging system is automatically updated via the cloud service and the devices are always up to date. In addition, the devices already have Plug & Charge and State of Charge readiness according to the ISO 15118 standard, allowing future smart electric cars to identify themselves to the device to start charging.
