Experience of over 27,000 panels

We supply solar panels to housing projects of all sizes, from detached houses to large apartment buildings and townhouses, with experience of over 27,000 panels.

The solar power system is sized by our experts according to the electricity consumption of the site and a possible energy community so that the economic benefit of the system is maximized. It is also a good idea to take into account, for example, future electric car charging points, a heat pump or other factors that significantly affect electricity consumption.

Energy community has enabled larger and more profitable systems

The change in the law made purchasing a solar power system profitable for housing companies.

A housing company can now establish a local energy community, which is equated with a small electricity producer. In this case, the housing company does not have to pay taxes on the electricity it produces. The income from solar power can be distributed to the residents of the housing company in addition to the electricity generated by the property. This way, the maximum possible benefit is obtained from the solar power plant.

Installation options

Pitched roof installation

Pitched roof installation is the most common way to install solar panels. The panels are aligned with the roof. This usually allows for the maximum number of panels on the roof. Racks are available for all common pitched roof types. However, some special tiles and rib placements may prevent installation. Even if the roof angle is not optimal, pitched roof installation is usually a more comprehensive method of installation than adjustment triangles.

Flat roof installation with "south racks"

In flat roof projects, the most common way to install panels is with so-called floating "south-facing" racks, where the panels are placed at an angle of 10-15 degrees on a rack that "floats" on the roof surface and is held in place by weight stones. This eliminates the need to make additional holes in the roof and makes installation of the project quick. This can be a problem if there are many different chimneys and obstacles on the roof. These racks usually allow the panels to be positioned in a very good direction in terms of yield.

Flat roof installation with "east-west racks"

In some flat roof locations, "east-west racks" are an excellent choice. They reduce the spacing between panels compared to "south racks". This means that more panels can be accommodated on the same surface area. They also provide a more even yield profile. In some locations, combining both rack types is a sensible solution if the most even yield possible is desired. Naturally, the building's orientation matters. This type of rack is a bit more critical in terms of roof shapes and obstacles.

Wall mounting

In locations where there is a significant amount of free wall space, wall mounting can be an excellent option. Likewise, if the roof area is not sufficient to install the desired power plant. Wall mounting produces on average 75-85% of the output of a roof-mounted power plant of the same capacity. Output is scheduled earlier in the spring and later in the autumn, as the peak outputs in summer are lower than those of roof mounting.

Hybrid Panels

If the site has, or is transitioning to, a geothermal system (in some cases also to other heat pumps), hybrid panels that produce electricity and heat are an excellent choice. They often reduce well field drilling costs, increase the efficiency of the heat pump and prevent the well field from cooling down. On small plots, they also act as an enabler of geothermal energy, as they allow significantly more wells to be placed in the area at the same time.
